This is not a straightforward question to answer as there are dozens of different lubricants on the consumer market.

Not all lubricants are created equal. Personal lubricants are highly regulated requiring certifications and registration with the FDA and similar governmental regulators in other countries. It is important to check that any lube has this registration before purchasing.

TORQUE is also manufactured by inspiration allowing for the careful selection and oversight of the ingredients and manufacturing processes. Many lubricant brands outsource their manufacturing and bottling processes to factories they do not well control or manage – not TORQUE!

This device is a personal lubricant, for penile and/or vaginal application. It is intended to moisturize and lubricate, to enhance the ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity and supplement the body’s natural lubrication. This product is compatible with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms. This product is not compatible with polyurethane condoms.

Lubricants can be made of several different ingredients.  Typical formulas include water, silicone, water-silicone blended or oil-based ingredients.

Importantly, TORQUE -ultimate silicone- is compatible just with natural rubber latex and polyisoprene condoms. TORQUE -ultimate silicone-  is not compatible with polyurethane condoms. These statements have been verified by a third party lab for FDA registration.

TORQUE’s intended use is meant to enhance the ease and comfort of intimate sexual activity and supplement the body’s natural lubrication. We cannot recommend ingesting large quantities of any lubricant as they have not been tested specifically for ingestion and “it’s not a food”. However, if your lube contains harmless ingredients, our position is that it can be used for oral sex.
